Har Chi Lau, MD, FACS
Har Chi Lau, MD is a Board-Certified Surgeon with expertise in laparoscopic surgery. He serves as an advisor to a surgical equipment manufacturer and instructs laparoscopic surgery methods to other doctors. Dr. Lau earned his Medical Degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania, and he attended the Nuclear Engineering Graduate Program at the University of Wisconsin. He completed his Surgery Residency and Internship at Allegheny University Hospitals. He was the Resident Assistant at the Department of Nuclear Engineering at the University of Wisconsin. As a student, Dr. Lau was honored with the National Chemistry Society Award, Sigma Pi Sigma Physics Honorary, and Freshman College Physics Award.
Dr. Lau is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (General Surgery). He is a member of the Medical Society of the State of New York, Westchester Surgical Society, Virginia Medical Society, American Medical Association, and Pennsylvania Medical Society.
Dr. Lau’s research is published in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals. He has contributed chapters to surgical books. Additionally, Dr. Lau is a sought after national presenter. Dr. Lau is fluent in English and Chinese.
