Michael Weitzen, DO, ABOS
Dr. Michael Weitzen is a Board-Certified Surgeon with formal training and expertise in laparoscopic surgery.
He graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in economics.
Dr. Weitzen earned his medical degree for the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences.
He completed his internship at Brookdale Universtity Hospital in Brookly, NY.
He finished his residency in general surgery and served as chief resident at St Barnabas Hospital, a regional trauma center, in the Bronx.
Dr. Weitzen has also completed a year of fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at New York Hospital Queens.
Dr. Weitzen is a member of the American Board of Osteopathic Surgeons, the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Association, and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.
Dr. Weitzen lives locally in Sleepy Hollow, NY. He operates out of Phelps Memorial Hospital and Dobbs Ferry Hospital.
